well the first day of class is over and done with...some interesting stories have already evolved just after one day...yes, i am being quite honest...things from being let out a whole hour early in portuguese all the way to interesting dinner situations..lol. caught up with some old friends and made some new ones... all in all very awesome indeed.
i taught my first college adjustment class...it was so nerve wreaking before and time just flew by...these students are awesome and i just can't wait to get into this school year.
one thing i have noticed though is that last year, i was the lost one and this year...well, i've been told that i know so much about the campus. For me it's very exciting to share information that i know about campus with others and directing them hopefully in the right direction. this year, other than stressing about first time to instruct, i was pretty mellow about things..i knew where i was going for the most part, what i was going to do for lunch and well, knew people. I think i am begining to feel back at home. Tonight i hung out with my roommates. It was the first time that all three of us were together so although so many things were going on, we took advantage of our time and had girls' night. They are some pretty awesome gals and we shared our concerns and all very truthfully which was so relieving. We had some great bonding time and just sharing memories with one another...lol..it was great...SOOOO...to bring things all back down, school is awesome..class is awesome...roomies are very sweet...and i finally feel my HOME!
