Well tomorrow is move in day. tomorrow they will come and well, we can't make them go back..they're here and they will live around me for a year. i'm a little anxious, a little excited, and freakishly scared. many people have been working hard for this day to get here...today was..oh wow..i sat in a resource meeting for over two hours setting stuff up for the students. It's very exciting but at the same time i can't help but feel a bit scared about teaching...standing in front of the class and be the instructor..i give the grades...mind you it is pass/fail but still, i have to overlook their progress and work and ultimately decide if they get a p or an f. so scary! and a few of them live around me too. i don't know how that'll work out. Anyways, just got back from leaving carepackages for all of them. Those things are so cute and packed with some very awesome stuff. The fig coordinator is fabulous!
well school starts monday and you know, i've been here all this time and really haven't seen anyone..well not many. it's my fault, i know. Getting my work done has been an experience of its own and frustrations with different documents and making sure i have one thing or another...and then reuniting with the other PCs...great car rides had there and then relaxing with some boba tea with one of my favorite people.
Things are just...well weird..maybe it's settling into my new home getting used to a new atmosphere. who knows..it feels like there's just nothing. KC is, i will admit, out in the boonies and with its empty halls, it's been somewhat depressing. Well guess that will change at 7am tomorrow morning! but i don't know...well i must go email my syllabi so it can be approved and ready for monday...
