YES!

my presentationg went extremely well! i handled everything they threw at me well and i talked most of the hr. well my class ended up being like 47minutes long. mostly everything was positive. just got some warnings especially on the topic i am talking about for that certain lesson. but other than that, they LOVED it! yes! oh yea, and i can't spell 'independence' right..lol. my students will either have fun making fun of my spelling or i will just have someone do the writing for me;) sadly i have only 2 people in my class as of right now.. have roughly a month to have at least 6 more people in my class otherwise my class doesn't make. but i have my new assignment should that happen and it would give me an extra hr a week of pay! oh yea! i may be teaching libral arts/undecided-classic. that would be weird and kind of a flashback too. the whole i was in this exact class this time last year type thing. all in all, it's all good. i have a JOB! one i actually enjoy. there's nothing but optimism of the future. what next year holds. this experience will shed a light on goals that i have already set for myself and will help with the reorganization of those goals. and who knows..i may return and teach the class a second year.
life can be crazy at times but i am happy that i am on this roller coaster. it gives me thrills and chills. it's hard to believe that this time last year i was living the high school era and doing that sort of thing and just praying of the different opportunities that would come my way in college. now it's actually happening. i thought i would go away for a semester or so and then WANT to go back to lubbock. always thought of myself as a hometown girl but now i couldn't dream of moving back. the metroplex..oh wow, luv it here. things change..life changes; we change. yay for life. ok..that medicine has really kicked in..gnight
