Updating
well should be doing other things but ha..right. this semester is kicking me around way too much. can't wait til the only thing i have to do is roll out of bed and on the couch for some pokemon or whatever it is my brother compulsively watches. of course i'll be taking summer school but only one summer session. i'll have a month and a half vacation before having to get back to the books. ok, i'm about to get into one of my weird reflective moods so beware.
ok, remember back when with my whole thing with friend definitions? ok. yea. i have wonderfully awesome friends. every single one of you. a few that have redefined it more and more. yal are the sweetest....marykate, you are extremely awesome. whoever paired us up deserves a raise or something. time and time again you are always there. you are wise beyond your years. if we get the scholarship, we so rock..if we don't, we still rock;)
in less than a month, i will no longer be a freshman. no longer 'new'. i know i haven't been a 'freshman' for a while but still as of right now, i am technically one. i have that as an excuse. don't know about that..oh that's ok, youre just a freshman...no more of that. it's kind of scary. i've lived away from lubbock for so long? in all honesty, i didn't expect to stay even a second semester last year. i figured that a little time away and then go back. wouldn't dream of it now. i am a completely different person than i was. earlier, i was talking to a friend who is looking at transfering to UTA and i realized that she really doesn't know me anymore and that if she were to come here, we would have to almost start at square one. weird? not really. we were moderately close in jr. high. tons have happened since those days...tons have happened since graduation.
well another week of stuff ahead. astronomy test..oh the joy..i've actually started studying for it so maybe it won't be that bad. a BIG good luck to all the directors...tomorrow will be their first general body meeting as the new board! yal are going to do awesome:) and banquet is friday...the school year is really wrapping up and soon i will be getting ready to pack stuff up for the summer and finalize lesson plans for the fall. well, reality's calling..megan, now are you happy to have an update?
